1. Official Announcement and launches

Official Announcements and launch events mainly consist of the groundbreaking, official openings, product launches, etc. Such events aim at introducing new directions or reinforcing corporate identities to the shareholders and general public. These events aim to create a positive image with their growth and expansion. Thus they need images with positive energy to send to the international press.

An image says a thousand words. Hence there is a need to capture interesting images of interactions between the clients and the guests. International news media pick these images up easily for their stories on the event.

Engagement corporate events focus on the guests’ experience and interactions during the events. They consist of mainly workshops, exhibitions, performances, and parties.

The Arts House hosts this yearly literature event with the Singapore Book Council. It promotes local literature and supports local writers. In this series, we captured the engagement of the readers browsing happily through the books on display.

What is corporate events photography?

Corporate events photography is a professional genre in its own right. Above all, it documents the actions and reactions of people at a gathering held for a specific purpose. Such actions can be interactions between the guests and hosts. They can also often be the reaction to the venues, the settings and the products on display.

Corporate events photography needs to cover What, Where, When, Who and How. The weight of each point depends on how the client uses the images. In other words, the purpose of the photography decides it.

A. What

We focus mainly on corporate events and provide photography and videography services for them.  There are mainly 2 types of corporate events, announcement and engagement events. Announcement events can be official groundbreaking, opening events, new product or service launches, as such. Engagement events include meetings, incentive travel, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) and performances.

B Where

This states the venue of the events held. Such venues hold significance, especially for corporate events like official groundbreaking, opening events and incentives travel events.

C When

The timing of events is essential when there are settings, and decorations set specifically for the time of the event. Examples could be lighting for a nighttime performance.

D Who

This includes the corporation or organisation that creates the events. Hence we frame branding and related publicity material in the background, behind VIPs and guests

Usually, these also include the guest of honour, Ministers of the country, and senior leaders of the corporation. These are key personnel to take note of during the events. The interactions between them carry real significance. Consequently local and international media often request them for press releases. Such images inject life into the usual ceremonious corporate events.

E How

This point is usually the main highlight of corporate events photography. The interactions and actions during this phase can help to illustrate how successful the events are.

Capturing images that illustrate these points helps to create proper documentation of corporate events photography.

F Why

Next, comes the most important question: Why do the clients need photography services? These are the main reasons:
